Working with PPM Deliverables

Ivanti Neurons for PPM adds Deliverables as a new business object. Add Deliverables to Programs and Projects to define successful outcomes. A Deliverable business object can only be related to one Project, Portfolio, or Program. Deliverables are not copied when a Project Template is created.

A Deliverable can be either a Process or a Product. A Process Deliverable captures the path taken to achieve a result. It can include planning, documentation, information sharing, and Resource planning. A Product Deliverable is a final output that directly satisfies one or more of the Project requirements. For example, a Process Deliverable might be a Resource Plan, while a Product Deliverable might be a new release of an application.
